2007 Cruis'N Anderson:
Relive the days of old…come cruise with us during the Fifth Annual Cruis'N Anderson, Saturday, July 14, 2007. The streets of Anderson will step back in time for the 2007 Cruis‘N Anderson, a celebration of our love affair with the automobile. On this day, the City of Anderson will open its gates to all vintage vehicle owners and enthusiasts. Combined with the music and fashions of many car eras, the Cruis’N Anderson celebrates the nostalgia of bygone days. Come and relive the days of classic beauty of fine vintage car design, when cruising through downtown Anderson was the thing to do! Remember when you could use up an entire tank of gas in one evening, and never leave Anderson?

The Cruis’N Anderson is open to the public (no event fee) and celebrates the days when anything to do with cars caused excitement. This must-see event is open to all vintage, customized and specialized vehicles. If you love it, and it’s a classic or vintage vehicle, you should get it out of the garage and come on down and join the parade. Plan on family fun with special events, live music, children’s activities, a variety of food and an amazing rolling parade of classics, hot rods and custom cars from around the world.

Many special activities that range from live performances to children’s activities to splendid automotive displays (Some organizations or businesses may charge a fee for a special event, but no overall fee is charged to attend the event.) Corporate and small business sponsors can become involved and individuals can participate by joining the membership program.

The City of Anderson and the Boys & Girls Club as well as a number of organizations and car clubs are participating in the Cruis’N. The event is being directed by a volunteer committee that will coordinate the efforts throughout the citywide event. Membership in the committee is open to all who are interested.

Sites are still available to groups wishing to participate in vending booths or by offering special activities. Both for profit and not-for-profit groups can benefit by being a part of this event. Opportunities are available to retail official Cruis’N memorabilia.
